If our identity provider, Stripe Identity, is unable to automatically verify the documents that you sent us to verify your identity - such as your Drivers Licence, Passport or Selfie - your documents will be moved to manual review, and you'll be asked to complete address verification.

Address verification is also carried out by Stripe Identity, and uses a combination of third-party data sources such as credit agencies or bureaus, utility or government-issued databases, and others to verify the provided address.

The process takes ~2 minutes, and all you have to fill out is your name and address. Address verifications are automatically subject to manual review, and you'll be contacted by someone from our Compliance Team about the results of your verification.
